About Ralph James Morelli

As half of the Ralph James Project, along with his wife Marci, Ralph James Morelli has had a lifelong passion for making music. Picking up his first guitar in the 5th grade and teaching himself piano in his teens, Ralph went on to front 2 bands: Black River Circus in the 70s and Carny in the 80s. As a solo artist, he shared his love of music and entertained audiences in intimate coffee houses and small venues. In 2007, Ralph and Marci formed the Ralph James Project, blending their vocal harmonies and enchanting restaurant and bar audiences across New Jersey. Fun Fact: In 2009, the Ralph James Project opened for Stickman Shadow at the prestigious M Resort in Las Vegas. Ralph’s versatile sound is influenced by the music he grew up with, including the heart-felt lyrics and harmonies of James Taylor and Dan Fogelberg and the electrifying melodies of Deep Purple and Yes. He weaves in contemporary country and infuses creative MIDI tracks, adding depth and dimension that sets each performance apart.
